Ruby and Pearl

Meet Ruby and Pearl.  These two sweet little bum lambs joined us from Wyoming.  They're the sweetest little things.  I found them and Wes fetched them on the way back from one of his trips to Colorado related to his credentialing process.  They started out on goats milk. The lady we bought them from sold us more of a lamb package than just lambs.  An entire bag of high quality lamb replacer, plus about 3 gallons of goat milk.  They have done well and are loving the warm afternoons when we're able to put them out in their little portion of the barn. Ruby was born on January 3rd and is said to be a full blood Hampshire lamb.  Pearl was born on January 8th and is supposed to be a Suffolk/Hampshire cross.  However, to be honest, I wonder if that's switched around.  Ruby sure seems more like a suffolk lamb born black that will fade to white but I could be wrong...time will tell.
