Trees Update.

Just so I can keep track, this summer we planted:

Three apple trees along the south fence line.  Three serviceberries out front.  A flowering crabapple tree by the chicken coop.  And, three river birch towards the creek.  

Plans for this spring, are to add a row of cottonless cottonwood along the north side of the creek where there is a good line of dirt.  Our soil is so incredibly rocky.  This will provide even more privacy to the north and west plus if we ever have livestock out there, will provide shade.  Also probably more service berries if they make-it thru the winter well.
