Oliver.

 In the spirit of continuing to learn the ropes of sheep...I bought a ram lamb this fall.  He is a full Ramboillet ram lamb from Riley Millar.  He was born in April so fingers crossed he is mature enough.  Should be without being crazy huge as Ruby and Pearl are smaller ewe lambs.  He is incredibly gentle and great to be around.  His sire was purchased from the Newell Ram Sale.  He was decent priced and I think a nice cross on my crossbred ewes.  When I picked him up, we talked a bit and the guy asked me how many ewes I planned on using him on since he is a ram lamb.  I said, don't laugh but....three :)  I named him Oliver as it means 'fruitfullness'.  Here's hoping we get at least one lamb this spring!
